Julie Medler
Musical Director
Julie took up the position of Musical Director of the Meridian Singers in January 2022. She is a music graduate and currently works as a music and drama teacher at a local school, where she conducts a choir. A keen singer, she has sung, and been a soloist, with many choirs, and has toured in Holland and the USA. Julie also manages to find time to teach piano, singing and the flute! We are very lucky that she has come to lead us; her enthusiasm and fun are infectious and we are sure that she will lead us to new heights!
Gill Parker
Accompanist
As well as being an experienced accompanist, Gill is also a singing, piano, and viola teacher and has performed, both as soloist and choral singer, across the country and beyond. As a student she and husband, David, were founder members of the Tallis Scholars.
Gill has been sharing her expertise with us for more than 8 years and her work with us over Zoom during Lockdown played a large part in keeping the choir together and motivated. We owe her a lot!
